One of the best things about village live here in Morchard Bishop is the way local people get on with the jobs that need doing. For example, we have a potholing team and a snow warden team.
And we need more helpers. Are you willing and able to keep your village running?
Currently, we need more snow wardens for this winter. This entails spreading a little salt onto the footpaths in your area when icy conditions are expected. The salt is provided by the council and the parish council distributes the sacks all around the village. We just need a little help to spread it. We particularly need volunteers for Greenaway, and around the main pavements in the centre of the village.
